Bringing Awareness to Your Pelvic Floor

Do you want to improve your pelvic floor function?

For years, I've been helping women understand the importance that proper pelvic floor activation has on their overall health.

>>Visualize your pelvic floor as a diamond that lies at the base of your pelvis.<<

If you're tired of peeing your pants when you run, jump, or do daily tasks, I'm going to share my expert advice to help you bring awareness to your pelvic floor.

Is Your Pelvic Floor Too Tight?

A lot of students inside Core Rehab that are into running, high-intensity workouts, or strength training tend to have too tight of a pelvic floor.

You can be too tight on the left side versus the right side or the front versus the back.

This restriction through the pelvic floor can cause incontinence, pelvic pain, and low back pain.

If you notice that you are too tight in your pelvic floor, it probably means that you are also tight in your glutes and obliques.

Can you release through your pelvic floor?

As women, we've been taught to:

  • Tighten, tighten, tighten
  • Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze
  • Harder, harder, harder

But that way of thinking could actually be working against you.

Through my unique training techniques, breathwork and visualization play a huge role in releasing the pelvic floor, pelvis, and deep core.

Bringing It All Together

There's a fine balance when it comes to the pelvic floor because you don't want too weak of a pelvic floor and you also don't want too strong of a pelvic floor.

By bringing awareness to your deep core muscles, you will understand where those imbalances are and begin to improve your pelvic floor function.
