Coming in HOT with this standing rotations tutorial!

I love teaching you ladies how to do staple movements that you can find in my daily exercise routine.

>>And standing rotations is the perfect exercise to help create space through your body, improve your energy flow and get rid of aches + pains.<<

They have been such a powerful tool in my Core Rehab program...in fact, it's one of my favorite phases because rotations are a lifestyle movement.

So might as well learn how to do them correctly, right?

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do standing rotations followed by a video where I will explain the movement more in-depth.

  • Stand tall with your legs shoulder-width apart
  • Zip up through your pelvic floor and low belly
  • Lift your right heel
  • Pull up on your quad while activating your glute
  • Rotate your hips as your foot pivots with you
  • Lift your body up and forward
    • This creates energy flow from your toes through the tip of your fingers and helps to avoid pulling in your back
  • Reach out under your arm
  • Come back to the center
  • Lift your left heel
  • Pull up on your quad while activating your glute
  • Rotate your hips as your foot pivots with you
  • Lift your body up and forward
  • Reach out under your arm
  • Come back to the center

I like to do about 10-20 reps, alternating sides. An important tip to remember is that every time you come back to the center, lift and grow tall. This can help you connect with those deeper layers of your deep core EVEN MORE.

When you are first learning how to do standing rotations, a smaller range of motion can actually be more effective for the body so make sure you are only moving through a range of motion that feels good.
