Movement Impacting Your Digestion + Inflammation
Nov 22, 2019Want to know my favorite part about movement?
It's that it can't be put in a box.
Movement is not just a physical thing, it's also an emotional thing, a gut thing, an energy thing and so on. That's why I love teaching movement, it's such a powerful tool when used with the right intention.
Now, let's think out of the box for a second. I want to introduce you to something that I like to call the trifecta punch in relation to movement, digestion + body inflammation.
- Physical. When you start moving your body with intention and focusing on connecting with the deeper layers of your core, you can increase the energy flow throughout your body and open up those tight or “stuck” areas.
- Decreasing Inflammation. Movement can actually help decrease inflammation + bloating in the body because as you move, you begin to secrete toxins. As you eliminate these toxins, your body starts to move more fluidly and you can begin to see the results of all your hard work!
- Improving Digestion. By connecting with those deeper layers of your core, you can begin to naturally get things moving! A regular digestive system is important because it helps absorb nutrients for energy, growth + cell repair.
Put that all together and you can find yourself creating more space in your body, saying bye-bye to body bloat and going poo more regularly.
