How A 70-Year-Old Woman Opened My Eyes To The Pelvic Floor
Jun 16, 2020A 70-year old woman told me a story that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
I know that the older you get the wiser you become, but as a 23-year-old new mom who studied prenatal exercise with an anatomy background, what she was about to tell me *blew my mind.*
She opened up to me about how her uterus fell out of her vagina and she had to basically be sewn shut.
Let me tell you, my jaw dropped so far past the ground as I stood there stunned.
That was never taught to me in school, in any of my trainings or even with my clients. At that moment, I realized that I didn't know near enough and it's what propelled me to understand more about the pelvic floor.
In this episode, you are about to hear what needs to be talked more about in women's health along with how the pelvic floor is interconnected with every movement we make.
