Ladies, as a personal trainer myself, I am here to give you my perspective on what you should look for in a fitness professional.

There are so many styles of training out there and so many methods being taught that you have to be clear of your health goals and make sure that your trainer aligns with them.

Let's be real... you're not just hiring someone to get you ready for bikini season or to get you prepared for that 5K in a couple of months. You are hiring someone who:

• you can communicate with.
• knows how to modify for your body.
• you're excited to see.
• leaves you feeling better than when you walked in + not depleted.

My best-kept secret when looking for a personal trainer (or if you're a personal trainer looking for new clients) is referrals! Ask your friends who they trust, ask your clients if they know anyone who could benefit from your sessions because word of mouth is a powerful thing, my friend!!

We trust people and their experiences and that has nothing to do with what letters are behind their name.
